Jasmine is the queen of flowers.

Jasmine blossoms cannot be processed through distillation, they do not yield enough essential oil. In the old days, in the south of France, jasmine absolute was produced by traditional "enfleurage" in animal fat. But today jasmine absolute is extracted using chemical solvents (such as hexane or ether). SAMA does not use such solvent-extracted absolutes in perfumes.

Luckily, a completely natural jasmine extract is now available from Egypt. It is certified organic and is produced using natural solvents.

Organic jasmine extract and magnolia essential oil compose the "white flower" heart note of OUDH JASMIN Eau de Parfum.
